Company Commander: the Company Commander {CO. Cdr.} is responsible for all that the company does or fails to do. He/she keeps the Battalion Commander apprised of the status of the company at all times. He ensures that the company is prepared for any mission that is assigned, and accomplished it in a satisfactory manner. He/she recommends subordinates for promotion, reduction, assignment, and reassignment. A company commander must be an expert in dismounted drill. He/she must check to insure his orders are being accomplished. Commanders must provide their subordinates why, when were, what, and often the how, in order to accomplish the mission. A good Company Commander is an outstanding leader with lots of initiative. Rather than waiting for someone to tell him/her what to do, they think ahead, and plan what will be the best for the company. Company Cdr. Does not worry about making a mistake. He/she keeps the cadets inform at all times and above all, always watches them as they accomplish the mission. Some of the specific duties of the company Commander are:
a. Commanding the company at all times.
b. Consulting with the training schedule, and other publications insuring the company is prepared at all times.
c. Checking with the SAI and AI for any changes or other information that may be needed or announced.
d. Ensuring that information and reports are forwarded in a timely manner. This includes but it is not limited to honor cadets, promotions, assignments, reductions, etc

First Sergeant: the first sergeant {1SG} is the senior enlisted cadet in each company. The first sergeant is responsible for the administration of the company. Specific duties of the first sergeant include:
a. Keeping the company commander informed at all times.
b. Initial formation of alignment of the company at all formations unless directed otherwise by the company commander.
c. Assisting the company Commander in his/her duties and responsibilities.
